  • Loki had his first confirmed kill the other night.  He spotted a spider running around the kitchen, ran it down, batted it around, bludgeoned it, and ate it.  I was so proud.

  • Circus

I had the pleasure of attending the circus with Quinton, along his Mom and both of his Grandma's.  At one point a clown was running around chasing his pants which were, of course, possessed and running around without him.  We all got a good chuckle out of this.
Later on the clown came back out, and Quinton comments, almost to himself, "Oh, he caught his pants."
After the circus we were leaving and Quinton remarked, "I don't know how his pants were running without batteries."

  • At the young men's study we talked on many subjects one of which was baptism, specifically, how prepared are we to speak/converse/share/discuss on the topic of baptism, we discussed many verses and themes and I went ahead and distilled much of it into a who/what/when/where/why/how format.  I'm going to put it up here for any comments you may have, and for your own use if you so desire.

    Baptism

    Acts 2:38
"Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."
    Acts 22:16
"And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.’"
    Jn 3:5-7
"Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’"
